Uch help

Hi I'm looking for some help with regards to a uch I've previously posted about electrical problems with the car it has no left indicator no hazards and when wipers are switched on they stay on until ignition is switched off. My sisters bf previously owned the car and had problems no wipers at all and no lights. He took it to his friend who had some mechanic experience and traced it down to some wiring and a faulty uch. The uch originally fitted was uch-n3 but the one he fitted is a uch bg looking about and my 1 day knowledge of clios is the uch bg is for diesels. Now would this cause some of my problems? Can anyone point me in the right direction to any info on the uch and are they fully interchangeable?

No they wouldn't be interchangeable hence having a different name, the cars also have different features etc so would need a different unit.

Ok that's what I want to hear explains the fault now my next question is the uch n3 was previously fitted but when I search on eBay etc it comes up with 1.4 or 2.0 clios the model I have is a 1.2 16v dynamic 2002 and again looking on eBay etc the uch n2 looks compatible I need to find out which type should be fitted can anyone help?

wouldn't check it out like that, get the part number you need and match it up, Renaught will tell you exactly which one you need. ( give them reg number and tell them you need a new one, ask how much go wtf but can I have the part No ) Job done.
