Understeer on PE2's..

Hi bought some new wheels with PE2's on, fronts have about 3.5mm tread left roughly which i though would be ok although grip doesnt seem as good as me eagle F1's were... im running them at 2.3 bar, (thats what i put in when they were hot anyway )

Any suggestions ?

Rob

Could be any manner of things - road surface, ambient and surface temperature, a film of oil/water/crap/rubber on the road etc.

Could also just be a harder compound, therefore not grip as well but last a bit longer.

Yeah might up the pressure a little and go from there, Can tracking cause a problem ? even if everything is straight, like steering wheel and it goes straight when in centre etc...

IM tempted to buy new tyres but will cost a fair wack :(

Have you still got the F1s on the old wheels?

Do a back to back drive on them and see if it still feels different.

Tracking is a possible but it shouldn't have changed just through doing a wheel change...

mate you need to do your tyre pressure when the tyres are cold......give 29F 27R a shot, thats what i run, no troubles
