uneven tyre wear

On my 1.4 dynmaique (mk2 ph2) im getting the outside of one of my rear tires wearing a lot and not the outside. May have been from when i was sliding around in the ice few weeks ago. What will put this right? Im fitting lowering springs soon also will i need alignment/tracking after that and what is the difference between the 2?

yes mate a curb. I assumed it was this that caused it but what will cure? alignment/tracking? i don't really know what each do?

Probably bent your stub axle, been there on a valver b4!

£40 for a new one there a bit of a apin to fit aks Fred about them
There no adjustment at the back of the car if its bent you replace it.

as above, alignment and tracking isnt adjustable on the back of this model clio, not sure about others, ph1 etc, wouldnt bother lowering it untill its fixed, look on the bright side, the garage can do both now and not con you for labour costs twice!!:approve:

Surely it will be cheaper from a scrappers? Like £20 or so. Whats freds username?
