Upgading from a FZ30 to a ?

Hi,

Thinking of upgrading from my Panasonic FZ30 to a DSLR, will primarily be used for taking pictures of my kids, the FZ30 is too slow in indoors/low light conditions.

Any suggestions on models etc welcome.
