Upgrade front speakers

Looking to update the front speakers, I have pulled the grille off and remove the stock speaker to have a looks, and it appears that they are connected via unique connector.

I want to leave the stock wiring in tact, what would be the easiest way to connect aftermarket speakers?

If its just 2 wires just cut the plug and the solder and heat wrap the joins

you can get plugs to keep them but may aswell just cut and solder the wires.

your not gonna see it and if you cut the plug of with some wire left on you could solder it back on at a later date if u needed to.
