Upgrading to a Sony Head Unit & Ipod, adaptor question.

I'm planning on upgrading the standard stereo in my 01 Clio Expression to this Sony CDX-F7750 and the connects2 ipod adaptor.

To be able to still use my steering controls, are the below two adaptors all I will need?

Also, anyone have any experience with a sony head unit, connects2 ipod adaptor and the standard steering controls? I wondered how it assigns the buttons in terms of controlling the ipod and choosing artists/songs?

i did mine just to sony headunit and steering wheel controller, easy to do, dont know about the ipod also tho

i got a connects2 adaptor for the steering wheel controls and dash display
