Uprating the Clio

  R26r R26
I want to get some work done on the Clio.Could anyone recommend someone who knows what they are doing(not main dealer).Looks like BBPT are dumbing down their workshop services so I am stuck.

What are you after and what have you got to spend?

Personally I'd spend on brakes and suspension and ignore engine tunning. Only thing to do is manifold work, remap, induction kit and exhaust/deact for power and nosie even then its costly but popular option.

If your doing cambelt and want power stick some cams in at the same time cambelt is £400. The intake manifold rework is £180 then remap is £400 or so. GDI and Yozzaport plus BenR could sort cams with a remap and intake manifodl for an extra £800 or so and your looking at a nice increase in power. Use s 182 exhaust manifold with decat and some sort of induction kit and you could be looking at 200~210hp depends what your engine like.

Head work ontop would be £900 extra I'd expect with that ontop your be looking at say 10~15hp extra depending how good your stock one is but you'd want bigger flow injectors idealy as stock are only goof officialy for 208hp but there not much extra bigger flow ones.

Brakes well DS2500 plus new disks plus lines and bleed with decinet fluid is fine for 99.999% of people for track use.
