  RS Meg 175
Hello people,

Yeah, just upgrade your standard 13cm speakers - sorted, go for alpine type r's or somehting.. or be a real don and upgrade to components.

Then get yourself a sub and amp it up (obv)

DO NO get 6x9's as they are a pile of doo hickey icky!

yeah 6x9s are a waste, i must admit i have 2 10cm pioneers in my parcel shelf, both on the right hand side, but this is only because the back speaers were gutted when i bought the car im thinking of putting them in place of the old 1ns once i gut the car... screwin the sub to the roof or summit :p

Sub/amp 4ever!

Ok nice one people, is it ok just to upgrade the 13cm ones for a bit then get the amp and sub after?
Also (n00b) what are components?
Cheers

Components consist of seperate speakers for mid/bass and treble frequencies, they will ussually have a seperate crossover to split the speaker input signal and direct it to the relevant speaker

A decent pair of Co-axial speakers (Mid-woofer and tweeter together) will improve things. A new HU will improve things even better though.

I was sceptical about changing the HU but once I did there was a big difference in sound quality.
