Urgent Brake Pad Help *Dynamique*

Hi there,

My 1.2 16v Dynamique is about to go in for its 18k service. I dont want Renault to change the pads. I think they do need changing tho.

1. Will it effect my warrenty if I change them myslef as I don;t want to pay Renaults rediculous prices.

2. will I hav to change both front and rear?

3. anyone know what pads I should get and where from?

Tell them not to touch the pads as you have sports ones in there and they should be fine with that.

I did this with my old 106 GTi and they were ok with it and no probs with warranty...

Should only need fronts on a Dynamique has drums on the back. Just tell them to ring you before they replace anything.

Get pagid "fast road" pads ive got them on mine (£25) compared to renaults £70+!!!!

(theyre the same as R5GTT pads BTW)

Have already ordered the KTR pads from ktec. Not sure if theyll be as good as the pagid ones, but Ill give them a go.

KTR pads are made by pagid, arent they??

Whats the generally opinion of their Kevlar ones, seem good valuem for money.

Renault want £169 for rear pads and £227 for front pads????? thats not fitted!
