Urgent help required re: rear shock top nut

So im fitting some gaz rear shocks (no opinions on that needed :rasp all fine and dandy but the nuts that go on top from the original shocks are ever so slightly too big and just wont catch enough to tighten... are the gaz shock top nuts different or any thoughts on what I can do?

I thought you would have been supplied with the top nuts and the housings..........

likewise....... sorted tho. Quick rummage through the too box came up trumps, at least until I can get down b&q or something
