My girlfriend just rang me as she's on her way to work.
Her Engine Management light has started flashing, she has literally driven about 500m from our house and would not have been exceeding 20mph.

What should she do?

30 a three point turn, and come home???

the get a mechanic to plug a diagnostics in it,

if you really dont want to drive it,
park it there for now,
get beers and invite ur mates to push it home,

EML could be something as simple as a dirty sensor. Is the car still driving ok? Has it gone into limp mode or anything? What car is it as you don't actually say??

Drives fine, if you ignored the flashing you'd think there was nothingwrong.

Go and whip your willy with a wet nettle you pervert lol, my girlfriend rang me while i was at work worrying about it. There was nothing i could do as i'm not close enough so thought i'd whack a quick post up asking as i know there's alot of knowledgable people on here.
Granted i could have added more details but i rushed it.

If it's flashing and the car drives ok, go for a blast to clean your dirty lamba sensor!

is it in limp, or is there a missfire? Mine did this when a plug went down
