I was trying to fit my stereo today and the positive and earth shorted !! Now the alarm fob doesnt work and the alaarm keeps going off !! Ive checked all the fuses and they seem to be OK ! BTW its L reg 16v

If it helps the interior light doesnt work either !! If theyre connected in anyway !

Have you checked the fuses under the bonnet? there are a few there next to the alarm, (in the right hand scutle !)
Yeah every dingle fuse is fine !
Sorted now ! was one of the crap fuses that you cant actually see through to tell if its gone or not ! Replaced and its all good now !
