URGENT Please Help!

Just tryed booting up my laptop and it goes to the screen which offers you to safe mode, or start windows normaly. When i select start windows normaly, it shows the loading screen and once it has finshed loading, it just shows a black screen i cant type my password in beacuse it looks like the screen has been turned off. HELP!!!

Tried booting into Safe mode, closing it down and then booting into Windows normally?

Just done that and now the its froze!!

Froze after you've done that or froze before/during Safe mode?

I find shouting/ banging and hitting the laptop on the desk usually helps, if none of that helps or makes it worse then a new laptop is the answer!
