URGENT: Steering not connected??!

  GSXR + KDX220
In short I had to drop the subframe to remove the gearbox, loosened the steering rack bolts so it was loose of the subframe....

Refitted, done them up all up again and now the steering wheel somehow isnt connected to anything, just spins to infinity!?!?

Someone help pronto!!! thanks

Its ok, I realised this had happened not long after posting. It was the part of the column inside the car, that had come out of the "sleeve" thats part of the rack.
So had to undo the rack bolts yet again in order to get it low enough to slide it back in....

Sorted now :) Thanks for the reply

Ok all is back together but I have 2 slight issues, theres a creaking kind of noise when moving the steering wheel backwards and forwards and also some kind of plastic-y click when turning from one side to the other?
Indicator stalk cancellation works still mind....

Any ideas? Somethings not right

Whats that for? Will I be able to get to it if I remove the shroud etc?

I need to take the wheel off anyway to centralise it again...

Its behind the steering wheel, its the connection for the horn and airbag wiring. You can only turn it so many times in one direction.

Start it up and check airbag light goes out and horn works.

Oh right, yes air bag light goes off as normal, horn doesn't work but it stopped a few weeks ago before all this anyway. Must be the fuse or connection....which fuse is it incidently?

Would that be the little box next to battery? Or is there another one I dont know about?
