urgento - help plz. door comps

hi ya... im almost finsihed with my install.. well almost... got wires all through car.. amp installed, sub installed, now replace the front standard speakers with components with cross overs.. things is.. how do i get the speaker wire that ive fed from the amp in the boot through and into the door.. there seems to be some kind of plug i cant get through...!!?!? - im trying to do this right now so if anyone can help that would be great.. thx...

You can either find out where the original speakers goto on the plug and use them or drill a small hole either side and grommet them up !!

lol, the old clasic

grab a drill, and a drill bit just big enough for the speaker cable to fit through

you have 2 choices depending on speaker cable width, through the plastic plug or through the door skin itself, if you go through the skin make sure you touch up and bare metal work that may be showing, and place a small grommet on both the body and door so that the metal doesnt cut into the wires

I ended upconncting the wire from the crossovers into the wires just behind the h/u. Not ideal I know but I didnt want to drill a hole in the doors which seemed to be the only other option.

ahh thanks all.. couple of good ideas there... cant a patch them through some how? plug one end into the connector and then plug a fresh wire into the corresponding output on the connector bit?
