USB Video Cature Cards..

As per title as anyone tried these:

Basically I used my old Mini-DV camera for a few trackdays and am trying to get the video footage off..

It doesn't seem to connect when using USB or Firewire so was thinking that a USB video card would be the best choice (using a laptop so can't use a PCI) then some half decent video capture software...

Any ideas?

I'd go for a Pinnacle card myself - they do a MovieStick that would be ideal. Good software too out of the box!

The one in the link does not work if your are using 64bit windows. I had to send mine back to get a refund.
