Using a PC

  5 GTT & Orb'd Trophy
Ok i've just bought myself a heap for getting to and from work, the condition of the paintwork is pretty shocking so thought i might invest in a PC of some description and have a practise, so;
A/ is there a definitive guide on here in how to use one(i haven't managed to find it)
B/ what is the new meguires uk unit like? Bear in mind i'm a beginner.

Th megs g220 rocks, i detailed my clio with it for the first time and i got superb results, i took my time though and did a lot of research on what products to use. Search my previous threads think its called "my detail" or something like that.

As for using a porter cable there isnt really a specific guide as such but there are useful tips such as switch on/off when the porter cable is on a panel and never off. Use the least powerful products first and work your way up but if your looking at how to make passes and such i found youtube to be helpful, theres a few meguiars clips and other clips showing you the basics of how to use a porter cable.

Thanks guys, invaluable advice and pointing in the right direction as always.
Any more opinions re G220 v's pc?

G220 is meant to be better in most ways, e.g. more power and less vibration, cheaper as no transformer required, good build...but probably not a lot in it really. If I was buying now though I would definitely go for the Megs product though over the Porter Cable.

Thanks, pretty much decided now especially as it means my business going to Matt.
