Using NCB for a second car

Does anyone know about using your NCB on a second car. My dad was phoning about this but was told that you could only use your NCB on one car and that he would have to pay the full premium on the other car.

I was just hoping somebody might be able to tell me if there is any way around this so that you can get your NCB to count, or if there isnt a way round it are there any companies which allow you to cover multiple cars under one policy?

I got 50% NCB whn i took out a second policy with my current insurer on my second car - Worth a try

You can only use your NCB once oon one policy.

Some companies will give you a discount for having a second
car with them but its not usually the full amount and there other clauses like you have to have had year of NCB anyway.

Ive had to get two different polices one using all my NCB the other with no NCB.

There are some companies who will allow 2 cars on one policy I think but Ive yet to find any who allow modified cars on the policies aswell as two cars on one policy.
