V6 Airbag light has come on???

dirving back from work today, and the "Serv" light came on, along with the airbag light? what does this mean? is it simple a "service your airbag light"?

mileage is on 12,700... so i had my 12,000 mile service not so long ago.

its a mk1 v6...

Mine had a little rattle in the door for a while and the moment it stopped the airbag light came on. Took it to the boys at R and they fixed it (warranty).

In the normal ph2s its the connector for the seat belt pretentioner/side airbag under the seat working its way loose. Not sure if the same applies for the vee.
