hehe.. i hope she does!Middo said:its a shock to society that such a fine machine should be let loose on the inferior sex :rasp:
only joking, girlfriend would kick me in the balls if she read this :quiet:
What the car or the bird?Middo said:going down the A500 where the road works are, silver looked really nice and tidy
Jainy said:Hey Middo - I actually think you might have a bit of a "death-wish" thing going on at the moment, especially coming out with such a disparaging (means "speak slightingly of) comment...especially when referring to another "ClioSport.net" forum user...TUT TUT - you should know better....
As a MK2 "INFERIOR SEX" Vee owner, I actually contemplated coming to find you, to launch a swift (but painstakingly long) kick to your nads when I read your post....
You see, what always fails to amaze me, yet infuriates greatly about this forum, is that 90% of the men on here, actually think that a woman should be shot at dawn for owning a more "Powerful and superior" car than most of the men on here and that she couldn't possibly have made the decision to buy the car herself - because she's (dare I say it...??!!) a WOMAN..!!! (run to the hills....!!!!) :boring:
I'd just like to enlighten you a little as to some of the really compelling reasons as to why "I" might have decided to buy my Vee....:approve: :approve:
Could it have been the warm, heartbeat/adrenaline raising feeling I get seeing it everytime I open my front door when I about to put the key in the ignition to start "HER" up...??? (if it was a "HE" it would need jump-starting!!!!) OUCH!!! ...or the way the great big V6 warbles and pops softly on the overrun...or the way the V6 is wonderfully torquey from low revs....???? Was it the styling that maybe swung it for me...the way the tailgate dips to emphasise the weight of the 3 litre engine lodged between the box arches...?? I reckon it also might have been something to do with the crazy looks and unique spec that makes it one of the best rear-engined 'road racers' there is on the market to own.....
But I'll tell you this Middo, even though the only downside to owning the Vee from a woman's perspective, is the fact that all you can fit in the tailgate (can't call it a boot!!!) is a row of kippers on a skewer to cook on the engine for your breakfast....:rasp: .I'll never-ever tire of having people gasp, point, stop dead in their tracks and take pictures with their mobile phones of my baby.....
Now here endeth the sermon according to Jainy - is this enough justification for you, you know, me being a woman and all and daring to own a Vee....????!!!!!
JAINY.
