V6 Mk2 - start button



That sort of thing really dilutes any kind of regard you might have had for his write up doesnt it! I hate it when journos cant even get the basic things right.

Perhaps he drove an S2000 the same day?

It does seem weird, but that test was April 2003 which was way before the first production cars appeared. Presumably the button never made it into production.
 


there was talk of the 2004 range adopting the keycard system from the laguna/megane/velsatis/espace

this system requires the start button, maybe he assumed.
 


It was a V6 so could have been anyone :)
