Ph1 track 172
So! Rebuild complete and engine back in the car. Obviously it didn't start first time that would be too easy! So putting together a plan of things to check. My suspicion is that the ECU (Gen90 repined for a ph1 by yours truly) is not getting 12v.
Things to note:
Things to note:
- Car has not started in ~15years
- Has a brand new engine earth so not that
- Engine cranks fine but no spark, suspected no fuel either.
- Fuel pump hard wired so no issue priming
- 12v to ECU pin 30 constant live
- 12v to pin 29 when ignition on
- ECU earth continuity
- 12v to coil pack
- continuity between ECU and coil pack signals
- Check relays - clean pins and use some contact cleaner - is there a specific relay that impacts 12v to the ECU/coil pack?
- Check all fuses - clean pins and use some contact cleaner - looks from the snip below that fuse 5 might be a key one
- Check the big white plug - clean any corrosion and use some contact cleaner
- Clean crank sensor - check continuity to the ECU (does anyone know what pin i should confirm?)
