V6 side indicators

does anyone know if the MKII V6 side indicators will fit a MKII 172?

If so, apart from the obvious does anyone know where I can lay my hands on a set ?

ps the v6 ones are the wrong shape hence wont fit in you original cut outs

Yeap plain old boring orange ones, I wasnt sure if the bulb holder that secures it in place was the same size? if they are secured that way?????

no they wont fit

they are the same shape as the new megane ones and would require a triangular recess for them instead of the oval shape of the existing 172 ones

why not fit the later clear ones of a 172 or 182 ?look loads better and are just a swop over job

The clear ones are cool. Iv got em on my 172. ACEparts do them. There is a link to their sight from this one.

I went for the crystal ones. Which I think look mint.

get them from renault think they are £27 or so

the new shape meganne uses them too so u cango to a breakers and see if they have a set



they will need to be molded in because on the standardwing there is a recess for the oval clioindicator and a tirangular section will need to be cut and and the area around it re-sprayed

im getting mine done within the next month or so so ill let u know how it goes

any chance of some before and after picks, and any chance of a cheeky pic of the indicator itself. ive not dont any mods before and dont fancy driving round wiv holes in the side of me motor if I c**k i up.

the indicator is the same as the one hydeho posted above

im not doing this myself - sending the car to the bodyshop this month to get it all sorted

ill ask him to get some progress pics as he works along the way
