Vacuum pipe on intake

Hi all, can anyone tell me what the vacuum pipe on the intake does as mine is blanked off?? It's just after the throttle body where should it go to?

Mine is the same ! From what I've read on google it might be to do with the acoustic valve in the airbox..I'm new to clios , hopefully someone knowledgable will no
