Guys, I've just taken on a job I wish I never....
Got an Mgf with a tan mohair roof. It's been stood under a tree and is mired in mould and s**t.
I've had interior cleaner, basic TFR and extra heavy duty (neat!) on it, scrubbed it, had my 90c 1600psi steamer on it and nothing is shifting it.

I've promised the bloke I'd get it clean and it's a good earner for me so I need to sort it.

Any ideas???

Sounds like it's stained, Dan. Might have an issue there tbh as the stuff you've used would be my first ports of call... Presume APCs, carpet cleaner etc have been tried with a wet vac?

Next call would be to Jim@whitedetails tbh.

No good. I need it tomorrow. Got to have the car done by 9am Monday.

Fucksticks.

Engine and Machine cleaner is a decent APC. Could you look at something like a mould killer from B&Q? Guarantee that's the reason it's not shifting... ingrown 'nd all.

The xhd TFR I use literally dissolves oil on contact. Even brake dust sometimes. I can't believe it's not shifting it!!

What about thinners?? Or will I f**k the hood good?

f**k me! That is quite far gone!!!!!!!!

A wet vac would at least extract from the pores!

Wet vac hasn't touched it. Just tried it.

I've just soaked all again with neat anti bacterial stuff from the snap on man who was in next door.

Stay tuned...

Chemical guys stuff. I tried it neat, but it made no difference diluted, it still worked the same.

I've left it in work with the heater on low so it should be bone dry in the morning. See what it's turned out like.

I need to get involved with the Bristolian detailing gang. Someone clean my pink car lol!!

Nice one Chappers! Saw you this morning on the M5 again. Assuming there aren't too many RB200's heading northbound.

What did it in the end?
