i thought the bulge on the valvers bonnet was because of the inlet manifold or whatever it is! therefore would you need to do a lot more than rip off some the lining on the inside of the bonnet!
any good bodyshop shouldnt take more than a day to that for you, which isnt a long time to be without your motor!
although it looks the f**king nuts! both the bulge and vent have very practical uses, for the reasons mentioned above! it would be difficult to get the stealth look as i wouldnt dare remove the vent knowing how hot it gets under the bonnet even with it!
i agree about the temperature side of things, have u ever just sat at the lights and seen the heat risin from the vent even after a short run, put a fryin pan on there and u could quite easily make an omelette!!!

right, in that case, ill be leavin my car to get ragged at a bodyshop for a day or 2 then!!!bugger-->NV
just take the bonnet off, get someone to to give you a lift to drop it off and pick it up!
ive got a standard bonnet on mine at the moment with a real valver bugle welded on top thats why i want another bonnet has had the inner structure cut out and fits fine may get a standard one and vent it
oh no, wouldnt be a permanent thing, the valver/willy bonnet is one of a kind, u never see any car with an offset bulge and vent, and i think if a vent aint ment to be there, it shouldnt!
yeah but i give up trying to source one so may try and find another option for a vent although using photoshop the scoob vent looks a little out of place
will look into finding out how much mine is to fix
