Valver has gone!

Had to sell the Valver on monday as my dad now owns his own car, the garage is taken up, ive got a daewoo matiz and wont be able to afford insurance on it for about 5 more years. Got my dad to sell it to a mate at work for me as i dont think anyone would buy a car off a 16 yr old. Got £750 for it which is good as i only paid £350 myself, but it has had an replacement engine since. Went with my dad when we went round the blokes house, didnt speak much, didnt want to have to let it go, will get first refusal on it when he comes to sell up though, so if its still running and insurance is reasonable ill get it back one day.

i take it he bought it 2 fix up, and kept it in the garage! now his dads got a new car and wants teh garage! unlucky fella, thats harsh having to sell it before you get 2 drive it!

Ye i got it off my mum last november! Her and my dad split up, and i wanted the car as id always loved it so i bought it, id got 5 numbers on lottery in september so i had the money.

What was wrong with it then? If you can buy a £2k car for £350 and then sell for £750

Well my dad only had a motorbike at the time when i bought it and i hate been a passenger on it, so i bought it as it was cheap, would have done it up, would have een cost effective if engine hadnt blown within 3 days of getting it! I did plan on selling it within a month or so of getting it, but after the engine went i would have lost the money so instead my dad drove it and taxed it etc and payed fotr it to be fixed, then he got huis own car and said there was no room for it. Oh but i did get to drive it, The great orme in Llandudno has a 4 mile private road thats used for a rally going around it, so i got to drive it there a few times!!

It had had a prang on drivers side at front and w**ker that fixed it cocked up spray job and it looked b****cks, would have needed a respray really so that nocked price down alot, also unknown history on replacemnt engine.
