Various Fault Codes - Please Help!

Evening all!

Been having a few problems with the 197 and failed its MOT the other week on emissions. I've only just managed to get it to my mechanic who changed the lambda sensor and that sorted the emissions problem but then the following day the engine management light came on permanently with check emissions message. He has plugged it in and the following fault codes have come up. Before I spend a fortune can anyone help diagnose what might be the main problem.

Camshaft sensor probably dead.

Front of the engine on the right near to the dipstick.

About £50 from Renault.

It clearly says camshaft sensor signal. I would hazard a guess at camshaft sensor. How come your mechanic hasn't recommended that??
