Just a quick one for all you V6 Owners.... I am taking it most people have tried a top end run? If so how fast have you seen on Speedo?

145mph but a roundabout soon brought that to an end!

why do you ask? it seemed like it could go alot more too, was shocked to see 145, felt like 120!

it is frightening at high speeds though, dont like to do more than 100mph, crosswinds ahoy!!

i had 166 out of me zx-6r... thats pretty quick on 2 wheels! ill have to give me 182 a performance run now shes broke in...

is it me or does the Vee feel slower than it actually is? There you are happily ambling along at what feels like 50, you look down and youre doing 80!!

agreed till as iwantav6 says .. good goin till you get a whiff of cross wind .. then the feeling goes the other way!! 50 then feels like 80 whilst wresling the beast back into a striaght line !


i got to about 145 indicated when side pod disappeared like the shuttle ejecting burned out fuel cells!!.. slowed after that

since you mentioned that, i use the elec mirrors to check they are still there.

apparently after speaking to people who designed the car its not an uncommon fault .. although renault will not accept by any means that it is !!
