Is that one of the challenge cars? Carbon fibre bodied with magnesium OZs if IIRC! Very cool, like a French Ferrari F40

i'm not that keen on them tbh, the ones in the link look like ferrari F40 wanna be's.

Why does the one in the pics above have odd wheels on it ? :S (with the rear one looking as if its from a ferrari 348 ?)

Those F40 alikes had 600bhp when racing... they use Citroen V6s..with a Turbo.

The venturis were made by two frenchmen, as a french answer to ferrari. The engine in the Venturi, was the 90° Peugeot-Volvo-Renault V6. In some of the racing versions as this 600 LM it made well over 600 hp. This engine is also found in Renault Alpines, and infact the Venturi and the Alpine share several vital components.

Nicely spotted Scott, some of the Venturis used the rear light clusters from old BMW's.
