Very dirty clio!

Had a little job to do today as one of my managers clio needed some attention. She has had it a while now but it got replaced by a company car so it's sat under a tree outside her house for about a year or so now so you can imagine what the paintwork was like. Also didn't help that it hadn't been cleaned since she's had it. Probably the dirtiest car i have cleaned. Covered in bird poo, tree sap and god knows what else.

Managed to get a couple of before shots:

(dont worry i dont use a sponge)

Once giving the car a look over decided to use to following:

Quick little wash
Jet wash the heavy stuff off
Wash over again and dry
Meguiers Clay
Little wash again and dry
Cleaned the wheels and tyre dressed
Waxed wheels
Waxed Car
Bumper's restored
Polished Windows

Unfortunately i didn't have enough time to polish and wax the car so i just used a little bit of wax to give it that little more shine. By the end was looking a 10000x better than it was

Worse over freshly clayed paint, but at least you put something over it!

fair play , but you get the shine from polishing not waxing. Good work though

Ta mate. I usually polish with some stuff called "mer" seems to come up good but what you recommend considering im applying it my hand. Haven't invested in a machine polisher yet.

Mate, Mur is like sandpaper in liquid form. Please, please, please don't use it! Worse than the "T" word!

Woooopse! I've only used it once so doubt il be using that again.
What would you suggest? I like the look of the Meg stuff tbh and the price seems resonable
