Hey new member here wondering if anyone can give me some info on a problem i'm having.
my car is a 1998 R reg 1.2 clio, about a week ago going around a corner, the bolts on the ball joint failed, so i ended up twatting a curb and knocking out the drive shaft.
we replaced the bolts, got the drive shaft back in at the side of the road so i could drive it home, even though the trackrod was bent:approve:
anyway, since we have changed both bolts on the ball joint, the drive shaft has been fine, but the other day when i was puling off the car made a huge knocking sound at the front, it really suprised me because of how loud and violent it was, i could still drive but i had to slip the clutch all the way back home ( on the next street lol ) but if i tried to put my foot down it just kept knocking and shaking the front end of the car about really bad.
we've had the drive shaft out, the part in the middle and nothing seems to be broken,i have no idea whats causing this.
it was fine when i drove it back after i hit the curb that night, but since we straightened it out it just doesn't want to know.
