I'd class myself as a competent amateur behind an SLR taking stills .. however, when I switch the trigger to 'Video' on my 7D, it all goes wrong.
Filming on a stationary tripod, in bright (back lit) sunlight, they still look awful .. doesn't seem to matter which lens I use, they just dont seem anywhere near as sharp as videos I see on the net.
So, my question is... how do people get the videos looking so sharp ? Is it all in the post processing, practicing, special filters or magical potholes ?!
Thanks !
