to be honest i hate the pipe cover things, looksw good form a distance but up close the look so tacky, get some silicone ones!!

looks schweet as!imo a battery cover in carbon would probs top it off to break up the red.howd you fit your strut brace?you have to drill holes?

Yes its the only way you can fit them really, unless you want to weld it, wasnt really that difficult to do, i think it makes alot of difference but other cs members think otherwise.

Looks good! Good choice of colours!

I don't like the metal plate covering the induction kit however

I reckon a carbon fibre battery cover would finish that off nicely.

Yeah I understand all the work you've done, but why don't you top-up your coolant, clean the negative terminal up with a wire brush aswell would top it off.

Red looks neat but not keen - imo ofcourse

thanks for the reply guys,

The cover for the filter is there to try and deflect the heat it does look a bit naff i must admit, i am now looking into moving it down behind the fog and getting rid of the fog lamp.

coolant low due to leak from thermostat housing/seal need to get that done (and top up coolant )

samco's next mmmmm bit expensive i dunno yet

I like the black manifold and fuel rail guard with the carbon engine cover, I hate the red pipes though!

Engine cover is easy on the eye.

Other than that (which in itself is utterly pointless) why?

You can't see it, and when you can its unimpressive.

metal shield is on wrong side, Is it aluminium? you would be better off using polished stainless and mountin it engine side. Im in the middle of making custom bits for mine will put pics up soon. Deffo go for samcos though

yes it is aluminium, thought it would be a bit better than just floating about, it sits in the o/e airbox bottom section, then its drilled and covered in the sheild.

aluminium stores the heat rather than reflecting it.should try half tube mounted engine side out of stanless and then maybe run flexy air tube out the front grill so you get plenty cold air.

Not for me tbh, I don't like the red & that heat sheild thing. You could do with a new coolant bottle too.

Like the red & black look you got there Scott, Only downside for me is the heat deflector. I think you could change that to make it look better !

Rest of the car is silver, the hill power bend started me off on the red trip!

As for polishing the writing i worked my way through different grades of wet and dry, then finished off with metal polish.
