VIN plates where r they?

i was cleaning my car and im not 2 sure about the vin plate under the window if its legit whats the best way of finding this out?

They are just small plates attached to the dash iirc, just check the VIN number matches your V5 document and you'll be fine

the vin numer came off using normal cleaning stuff,the number ties in with my v5 but can that not be forged 2?
