viper induction kit

i just got my viper induction kit and fitted it, it came with a samco tube but no proper cold air feed, would a cold air feed be better and run it down to the front bumper?

do you think its better than that, as middo put that on and he seems to know a fair bit about cars, it already has a little cut out for the viper feed, do halfords sell them?

mark (middo) had a specially made samco hose setup which worked really well with the car, is that still on it?

no point in the caf on the 1.2 in the slightest.

its also well overdue for a clean, unless yourself or j6pkp(sp) have cleaned it.

didnt have trophy wheels i had some cup turinis on it for about 3 weeks. which fitted fine.

cleaning it involves some fairy liquid and some water. but try not to saturate it as it takes a couple of days to naturally dry if you do.

clean the foam filter? do i just pull it straight out>? do i not need to oil it back up. cheers for the help mark.

theres a dirt retention spray, not sure if you've been given that as it may still be in my garage lol.

just clean the entire viper without removing it. i try to let the water enter it in just one direction

ok i get you i think. just the actual closed filter out and put water through the top entrance tube and let it run out of the bottom? with fairy liquid. is that what you mean? no dont have any spray. i thought u had to take the filter out. wb

you put the red bit on the end of the metal tube mate and then put that thru the hole where the original airfeed for the box was (behind the light)
i tried different set ups and found the above to be best as mark did.
