I'm still thinking of changing the steering wheel in my 172 for something smaller, currently looking at a Volantech Uno has anyone fitted one or seen one in the flesh?

Big fan of the one in mine - great quality and goes well with the RB!

They look great but the lack of colour options have me looking elsewhere. I would like to buy the full package from them, but the current choices are too limited. Hoping they have more variety soon as it’s likely to be my Christmas present

Is it just an illusion or are they thinner than a Sabelt or Sparco Renaultsport wheel? Looks spot on though. One other question, is the centre an infil type thing as I wanted the badge less option hoping it would leave a smooth centre

What colour were you wanting Russ, they do a red stripe rather than blue, they respond to emails really quickly would be worth seeing if they could be custom ordered.

It's just stuck on but I'm pretty sure they do one without it though

Looking at yours closely it looks like a gel sticker so hopefully just smooth underneath

Might as well just buy OMP then, they're basically all yellow
Yeah I get that. Just wanted to make it easier for my wife as you can buy the whole kit from Volantech. Plus the wheels look decent quality. They do their own or third party RS wheel which looks decent enough. But likely I’ll end up with OMP and a Valontech boss and switch kit.

Still looking at these, how will a suede wheel stand up to use? not daily use but more that it might get used as a track car.

@DomP182 This is mine after about nearly four years and about 5000 miles, may take it off and give it a clean now though. But overall it's not too bad.

I'm also looking for an aftermarket steering wheel and looking at Volantech, id be using it daily and wondering if the suede is a bad option for daily us?
Thanks
