The C30 D5 was fantastic to look at, be in and handle.

But Hard as nails ride and pointless having a diesel!

  Turbos.
Shame the Polestar never made it to production.

Saw a really nice new Volvo estate in red today, in whatever their sport trim. Almost makes me want to have a few kids!

I went out in a V70 R Design in Norway and ive got to say, its possibly the comfiest car I have ever been in, i think the 5 hour train ride before hand helped that decision though!

Volvos are really nice these days - love the C30.

My parents have owned pretty much every Volvo going - 240, 740(x4), 440 e.t.c. They both drive Mercs now.

  Turbos.
Was the V50 R Design i saw then, although looked a bit newer than that. Presume there has been a facelift...

My dad finally got rid of his 1990 740GL estate when it hit 350,000miles on the original engine and gearbox, only had 2 new clutches in that time too.

The amount of room in it was a result for me driving it at 17 when, erm, visiting the countryside of an evening with my girlfriend ;)!!

Love the V60 T6 R-design!!

i didn't think much of them before i started working for them about 3 and a half years ago. but i do love most of them now. i kinda want an s40 t4 but the fuel economy is crap. an s60/v70 d5 163bhp would def be good for a daily drive nothing ever really goes wrong on them. the later engines are not as good.

in a few years there stopping all 5/6/8 cylinders and its all going to be 4 cylinders. and a hybrid is coming. also you can buy an electric c30 but only in left hand drive thank god.
