My mate selling his weekend toy as now is on bikes.
Is a really well look after car with extended list of expensive mods. I’m really confident about the car and that is way I’m advertising in here.

considering that as a standard car worth £10,000 asking only £4K on top for mods that had cost £12K is fair price.

When someone had paid (labour and parts) and fitted only the top of the range parts i believe that yes they can asked top money as well.
Some people are a bit skeptical buying a modified cars because they think that they will get a dog knowing from their own cars that they do all the job in their drive way.

Modifications add feck all in my experience, really nice motor but £14k for a Golf on a 12 year old platform is a bit much. You can get a tidy MK6 R for that money.

I've found in my experience of selling cars, mods add about 10% of their actual value :confounded:

That is lovely, but £2-3k too much IMO. Even with the mods.
When you mod a car, you accept that you won't see all of that money back IMO.

I do like this car.
My issue is that whilst i appreciate the mods, the price is simply too high.
Base car with no xenons/nav but low miles is probably £9.5k's worth, this is £5.5k extra!
£10k but he keeps the Oz wheels & AP's and it would be a lot more interesting i think.
