Sorry i should have been more clear lol, what about at lower speed? Does the airbox restrict the engine until air is actually being forced in?

For example, is this purely designed for track when you will be moving quickly 99 percent of the time.

Or would this airbox/inlet be suitable for every day driving e.g. around town.

tbh i can't see how it would be any more restrictive than a sock / sausage filter and a normal bonnet. this simply directs air into the chamber that the ITB's sit in therefore not restricting it like a wedged in set-up with a standard rad where there is no direct access for the air as the bonnet / slam panel is in the way.

the fact it will work much better at higher speeds is a bonus.

i would imagine fred will be along at some point, he may add something i have missed / answer better

I remember when this had tights over the rear lights. It's come a long way. :)
