just ordered one of these with 8 months half price line rental and 4 months at £40 on a 12 month contract from car phone warehouse...In some of the pics its black and orange and in some its white and orange.Do they come with changeable covers or do i need to specify which i want...

Vodafone do it in white and O2 are black.

You can't change the covers. Vodafone have white exclusively.

Thanks guys ive spoken to CPW today and they have confirmed that all the w900i's they do are exclusivley white.

I contacted Orange and they aren't doing it, well annoyed coz I've been awaiting for that too. Not paying for it SIM free either.

Im currently with Tmobile and my contract is running out in a few weeks, im moving to Voda just cause they have the handset and its the only one i want hehe

Its a great phone, been watching the free mobile tv vodafone are offering until the end of january, but i'm considering paying the extra fiver a month, as its great to watch at work, quality isn't bad for streaming mobile media, and keeps me from getting bored.

Only problem i'm having with mine is battery life is really poor, i have to charge it every night (and its not because im watching mobile tv all the time, I watch that with the charger plugged in).
Might just be a faulty battery in mine tho'

Maybe that will get fixed with new firmwire, seems like SE do that on all there new phones.

Mine was really bad to start with, only lasting a day. Now its been through a few complete full charge / full discharge cycles its lasting much longer. it's lasting 3 - 4 days now, although i'm not using it quite as much as you do playing with it when you first get a new phone.

Firmware update enhanced the battery life on my old K700 so probably will for the w900 when one comes out.

One annoying thing so far is the phone crashed on me while playing a game yesterday (screen just went white and had to take the battery out and restart the phone) It wiped all of my games and applications including the preinstalled ones, and a few i paid for

Ive had mine for a couple weeks now and im glad to say the battery life improves ! the first time I charged it fully and mucked around with it the battery lasted 2 hours lol.. i didnt even make a phone call..

Everything else about the phone is top notch though.. best phone that I have ever owned, the video quality is great with 30fps 320x240 ! ye the white ones are vodaphone only.. which is who I was with anyway and preferred white.

Anyone else noticed the sound is a bit quiet if you listen to it via the speaker though ? headphoes are fine.. just the loudspeaker ?
