i Hvae just brought a new number Plate G20EGG , so what happens to the old 1 when i transfer it on

The existing plate gets held by the DVLA in case you move the G20EGG elsewhere so that the old plate can be mated back to the car.

yer it goes back to the DVLA, so technically it can go to another car!

BUT in most cases u tend to get it back if u take off ur personal plate and u put the origional back on it
