Want to run an oil temp sensor .

You really want the sensor in the flow of oil, a sandwich plate between the oil filter is best.
You can usually take oil pressure from the same place, most sandwich plates take two senders.

I'm now looking at the sandwich plate route . I have one already on the car as I run an oil cooler .
Want to run an oil filter re-location kit also , so may look into having a plate with the holes for the sender units in that .

I'm now toying at another idea , what do people think about the 32mm nut on the sandwich plate being drilled and taped to take the oil temp sensor .

Why not install an adaptor or something in the oil line, save hacking the sandwich plate lid about?

or is that sandwich plate thermostatic?

Recently ordered the item and it wasn't what I thought it was , temp sensors are quite long in length and this was shallow .

My dialemia now is , I know jack sh*t about UNF or AN and all that . So I'm after some advise .

I measured my union output from my oil cooler sandwich plate and it as follows below

@NorthloopCup put me on to this item and I was wondering would I need a step up from the sandwich plate to hoses ?
As AN-10 is about 16mm which is to small for me .
Someone tell me in wrong lol .
