Warning Light and High fuel Use!

Hi,

Hope someone can help with this!

I was driving up to blackpool on saturday and my emissions light came on, i was averaging 40mpg most of the way until the light come on, the mpg went down to 32mpg after this.

Left the car over night to cool but the light was still on, as i needed to drive back yesterday i couldnt take it to a garage and get it sorted, on the way back my car was averaging 25mpg on motorway driving!

This is costing a fortune, can anyone hazard a guess as to whats wrong with it before i run it to a garage??

Also when i ran the diagnostics on the car it come up saying there is a fault with the injector and the oil sensor.

Emmisions light is usually a lamda sensor

cheers, had a feelin it could be summit to do with this or the fuel injectors, gonna run it to the garage now anyways
