Warning light... HELP

Got a warning light pop up again, its a box with a jagged line through it and a like a swiggle underneath it, dont know how else to describe it? its down as the Electronic incident warning light, its been on before(after a car wash) but then went off, it was heavey rain last night and up it pops again, any advice? can i fix this my self, oh and when i lift the bonnet i can hear a hissing as if water is dropping onto something hot, thanks alot. Phil

ive now got the warning light for the monitoring exhaust gas showin! god this car is doin my head in already, only had it 3 weeks!!

In the renault handbook it says its either preheater obviously for diesels , water in the diesel or looks like in your case , Electronic fault " it comes on while driving , it indicates an elecrtonic fault or water in the fuel . Consult your Renault dealer as soon as possible "

Sorry i couldn't be more specific , it just seems to be a warning like for all things electrical in general .

contacted the dealers, say i have to take it in, seriously pissed off!! wish i would of stuck wiv my 106 gti.........
