A mate of mine has just had the following warning light come on in his 1.2 16v. Any idea what it is, he is out and doesnt have his handbook on him and needs to know what to do!

When that came on on my 1.2 16v the injector computer? had gone :/
Was without the car for 3 weeks.

Does it still have plenty of go ? Mine wouldnt get up a small incline in 1st when it happened to me.

Is the stop light on as well?

Its the toxic warning light if its on all the time get to a dealership might be the cat getting damaged or just a faulty sensor.

Do a check on the dash for the error code.

* If if light up permanently contact your Renault Dealer ASAP

* If it flashes, reduce engine speed until the light stops flashing and consult your dealer.

thats what it says in the handbook mate.

I was gonna say TWL.. mines on at the mo.. going in to have it reset on tuesday.. Mines caused by hot air fom the rad cooling fan blowing trrough my K&N ik and causing the temp sensor to trip.. may have to speak to K&N (have done so once already..) to see if they can resolve the issue.. as i think my dealeship will get the hump soon.(under warranty).
