HI

COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT I WANT TO LOWER MY CLIO 172 CUP 40MM ITS ONLY 7 MNTHS OLD AND WANT TO KNOW IF IT WILL VOID MY WARRANTY ON MY CAR

Depends on your replationship with your dealer. I lowered mine when it was just a few weeks old - no hassle from the dealer at all. Obviously if one of your new springs breaks, or if a shock absorber goes, you cant expect Renault to help, but everything else should still be covered.

If you ask them to confirm this in writing they probably wont! But there are heavily modified cars (stripped-out, chip, exhaust, brakes etc) on here which Renault still do warranty jobs on.

It will void the warently on any assocaited componet ie dampers etc.

But they have to prove the mod is responsible (under law) so you should be fine. 172s have been droped more than that without problems.

Im with edde on this one. My warranty is only void on my wheel barings as I got bigger wheels. All the rest of the car is covered (until I mod it more).

depends on dealers. some dealers would void the warranty on shockers etc whilst others wouldnt say anything at all.
