Is the 2.0 16V badge on the side covered? Mine has one or two little spots of rust on it. Thanks Lee

Are you sure its rust there not made of metal.

I wouldnt have thought those were covered. My 172 Mk1 are plastic badges, do the Mk2's have silver metal ones or are they just silver painted over black plastic?

they're plastic, they dont rust...

it may be that the 'chrome' (not real chrome, just fake chrome paint) has been damaged by salt/weather/other...

it almost certainly wont be covered under warranty - or a paint warranty for that matter.

Just buy new ones from ebay or even renault...
