warrenty work daft question

Hello all, the lambda sensor on my 182 has gone, will this be coverd under warrenty? daft question but do i just take my car down to renault dealers and say that i want this fixed under warrenty and they do the rest, is it that simple, , will they be funny with me? do i need to provide proof of service history etc? its a 2004 uk 182 .I am the second owner.If its not coverd does anybody know roughly how much it will cost to fix? cheers in advance.

they should just fix it under warrenty if u have proof of ownership. (if its covered, not sure about sensors though)

Sensor in the exhaust which detects air fuel ratios. Most cars ahve 2 one pre and one pst cat so the ECU knows if the cat is working.

i had mine done under warranty turned out to be the one past the cat no problems at all..
if they make you pay i would imagine it to be expensive you will have
diagnostics

knowing how much bits are from the dealers i would guess you would not get much change from £150

thanks everyone only way to find out for sure is to go and see them, the lambda thats gone on mine is also the second one after the cat.
