Water and oil loss

Lossing water and oil on my valver does this only mean one thing, the head gasket or may it be something else????????

sounds like a head gasket to me!

last time i had one go on my corsa the car filled up wit black smoke!

how much are you losing of each??

valvers do use oil more than most other cars. mine loses about 2litres over 5000miles. need to keep em topped up.

water may be a leaky hose somewhere whern under pressure. not always noticeable on such a hot engine if leaks round the eng. look for mayo in the oil filler and dipstick.

mine was using some water and i couldnt see any leaks. since i did a coolant change it stopped.
